Starting with the upcoming March session of the RF Technology Certification program, the videos will be hosted by Vimeo, which means you can watch them from most mobile devices and tablets in addition to your PC. The videos have been updated to include features such as captions for most content and also speed controls for the playback.

New RF Engineering Online Certification Coming Soon

Besser Associates is pleased to announce our newest online course Applied RF Engineering I - Circuits and Transmission Lines. This course, together with a second, system level course to be announced soon, will form the basis of our new Applied RF Engineering Certificate. The two courses together will cover a similar subject area as the RF Technology Certification program, but with a greater focus on numerical analysis and design techniques and less focus on test and measurement. The two programs are compatible in that one could either take the RF Technology Certification first and move on to the Applied RF Engineering Certification or

A new course gives engineers the background knowledge needed to integrate WiFi (IEEE 802.11) and/or Bluetooth functionality into their products. WiFi and Bluetooth RF Aspects: Standards, Systems, and Measurements is a two day course that will help your team understand how the radios work, and the types of problems that can occur. Background knowledge about indoor and outdoor propagation, modulation types, OFDM, and MIMO will enable your engineers to predict how your product will perform and avoid common mistakes. Current standards such as 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth EDR and LE are covered. The course is currently available for booking on-site at your facility both in the US and internationally.
